John bought some new shrubs to plant in the yard!!! YEAH!!! I love new plants. We made it a family affair. Taylor went and got her chair and Emma Kate danced. He planted pine trees, plum trees,wax myrtles, and oak trees.

Spring Cleaning and Planting
Today, the girls and I cleaned the house. We opened the windows and allowed the fresh,clean air to flow in! Emma Kate is really a great helper. She cleaned the base boards and she wanted to!!!! I wonder how long this will last?!!! Taylor cleans what she wants to clean. Notice, she is cleaning her Dora tray. The picture below is dark but I had to post it...typical of her. She also likes to pretend she talking on the phone while she is vaccumming. Later on in the afternoon, the Peirce kids came over to play. Their mom, Brett, brought over Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Wow, I'm impressed! I know what you mean about that first child... they are the overachiever(my Ford is that way). Very cute pic of the girls in the jeep. Also, I love the window seat. In our next house, I want one in every room!! :-)
I just love it when I get a comment! Thanks Al! I love window seats too. I had more in my original house plans(breakfast nook and keeping room) but we had to cut some of the spending and I lost them!! I stood firm on the one in EK's room. One day I will add the window seat to my breakfast nook.
